Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for KYC/AML/CFT checks on prospective clients

• Responsible for KYC/AML/CFT recurring checks on existing clients

• Keep up to date with, and understand relevant laws and regulations

• Monitor compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies

• Ensure that findings are recorded and databases are maintained and in compliance with Corporate Secretarial requirements

• Conduct training and educate employees on the regulations and the impact of non-compliance

• Investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues

• Assist in the gathering of internal information in response to regulatory requests and audits

• Collaborate with other departments to create a culture of compliance

• Collaborate with technology team on processes implementation for effective compliance on BlueMeg’s Console

• Assist in any ad-hoc matters and projects as and when assigned

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Law or equivalent

• Candidate with relevant experience preferred

• Candidate with CPA qualification preferred

• Proactive and client service oriented

• Attention to detail and analytical skills

• Communicate well and willing to multitask

• Team player, self-motivated and resourceful
