Opportunity

The Enterprise IT Programme Centre works at the forefront of digitalisation of MINDEF and the SAF. We are looking for curious, analytical and instinctive engineers to join our growing application security team to improve our applications’ security posture. This role will require you to:

  • Work with product and development teams in areas of application security
  • Work closely with the engineering teams to design, develop and operationalise reusable application security components to better secure applications
  • Identify security gaps, perform threat risk assessment and mitigate detected threats
  • Perform penetration tests and conduct security assessment
  • Perform application security reviews, threat modelling including code review and dynamic testing
  • Review and develop automated security testing framework
  • Instill cyber-by-design culture
  • Conduct cyber security training

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Security or Cybersecurity related fields
  • Minimum of 2 years cybersecurity experience
  • Relevant IT certification with recognised or related cybersecurity certification (e.g. OSCP, OSWE, CRT, etc.)
  • Experience with OWSAP, static/dynamic analysis and common security tools
  • Basic understanding of network and web related protocols
  • Familiarity with web application architecture
