Job Description

Responsibilities
 
You will be responsible for the administration and management of the enterprise databases which support ITE businesses.  This involves working closely with the various stakeholders from project implementation to subsequent maintenance and operational support. You would need to plan, design, install and upgrade the databases, ranging from capacity planning, backup recovery procedures, performance tuning to applying security patches to meet the ICT standard and policies.  All these are to ensure availability, optimal performance and compliance. In addition, you will also need to manage access and application changes through the data and change request process. 
 
Requirements

You should have at least 3 years hands on experience on Oracle and MS SQL in enterprise level environments across different versions and platform (Windows/Redhat Linux/Solaris).  Equally important is to also have a good knowledge and understanding of database design, schema and standards, together with sound analytical and problem solving skills. Lastly, this role also requires good interpersonal and communication skills
