Job Description

The Enterprise architect is part of the Strategy&Architecture team for the Wealth management Business line. He or she will be working in particular with Credit applications domain.

Role and responsibilities

Be responsible for the definition of Domain target architecture by:

  • supporting the design of target functional, applicative and technical architecture within the Domain in conformity with industry standards and architecture principles
  • managing regular review and adaptation of the targets (Domain blueprint)
  • driving the Division application Portfolio review committee (twice a year)

Contribute to solution architecture on the main projects by:

  • supporting teams for the definition of solutions during solution ideation, design, and implementation
  • ensure the alignment of projects with this target architecture

Support Project Managers and tech leads along the architecture validation process by:

  • being the reference within the team for architecture process
  • bringing architecture awareness
  • leading the building of a consistent Project Architecture documentation
  • supporting the Architecture process
  • leading the final review at Go Live Check list level prior to the project’s Go live

Maintain the architecture reference documentation all along the changes brought by projects:

  • IT system diagrams (global and per main functional topics)
  • Application referential (with the help of Asset Owners)
  • Domain principles and related non-conformities and remediation plans
  • SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threads) of his domain
  • Obsolescence KPIs

Candidate profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in IT either as Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect or Tech Lead (or a mix)
  • 3+ years of experience in software development
  • Understanding of the Enterprise Architecture discipline, processes, concepts, and best practices (TOGAF for instance)
  • Experience in modeling activities (application maps, software design models, data modeling, infrastructure diagrams, etc.)
  • Experience in assessing a broad range of information solutions and products
  • Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude.
  • Interest in business strategy and alignment of Information System with this strategy
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written documents and oral presentations, explaining concepts clearly to audiences at various levels of technical knowledge.
  • Experience producing and presenting strategic technology recommendations to senior management
  • Leadership attitude when driving the project’s contribution
  • General Banking knowledge, and specifically in Credit domain is a plus
