Pega Application Support Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities

· Provide application maintenance support.

· Implement change requests.

· Be part of the Application Maintenance Support Team.

· Perform application testing and closure of application defects

· Provide production support to users, handle user queries and resolve production issues.

· Provide resolution / workaround to issues and problems reported.

· Liaising with external systems in resolving production issues when necessary.

· Ensure all assigned deliverables are completed on time and to the required level of quality.

· Ensure service level agreements are met and escalate whenever required.

· Design/implement Change Requests if any.

Qualifications

· Must have basic Java, experience in development of multi-tier applications using JAVA, Tomcat, IBM WebSphere

· Familiar with SQL queries & databases

· Familiar with web services like SOAP 1.2, WSDL 2.0 and XML 1.0

· Good experience in an IT Application Support/Maintenance or Development environment

· Experience in PEGA Rule Process Commander, 6.n or 7.n is a plus

· PEGA Certified SA/SSA is a plus
