Job Description

Principal Consultant (Monitoring & Operations Command)

Responsibilities

Lead the team to achieve the following:

  • Investigate cybersecurity incidents and root cause analysis
  • Analyse firmware related incidents
  • Analyse network evidence for malicious activities
  • Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration testing
  • Validate vulnerability reports from bug bounty or reporting programme
  • Lead and perform threat hunting
  • Reverse engineering applications to answer tech queries
  • Curate opensource and commercial intelligence feeds and manage threat intelligence
  • Track and analyse TTPs of threat actors to improve detection and response
  • Contextualise vendor threat reports for our sector

Requirements:

  • Background in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Security or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience in ¬†cyber-security operations centre or cybersecurity related industry.
  • Trained in malware analysis, forensic investigation and network traffic analysis.
  • Good knowledge in Operating Systems, Network protocols, Web technologies, scripting and programming.
  • Knowledge in telecommunications and media equipment and technologies
  • Proactive and take ownership to resolve problems.

Position will commensurate with experience.
