We're looking for a Security Specialist to join our small, but growing company. This will be a critical role in the organisation and you will need to be at the top of your game, with an industry reputation to match.

Cyber security is the bedrock on which every digital bank is built and we want to build delightful high quality products for our customers. Work with us and help us build state-of-the-art customer experiences and our internal tools and public facing web and mobile applications. Develops mobile application in a way that is easy for non-tech savvy people to use and can be customized fast and seamlessly. The code and libraries used must be up-to-date and well commented.

The Role Responsibilities:

The Security Technology Services (STS)  team is made up of cyber security thought leaders, who are accountable for the provision of a global set of cyber security services and products in order to maintain and continuously improve Bank’s cyber security posture in today’s ever evolving cyber security landscape.

The STS team protect the Bank from cyber security threats by delivering effective information security technology services, managing and responding to security incidents to ensure, and support the continuity and growth of Bank’s business operations; and meet the both internal and external stakeholders’ expectations across 70+ countries and territories, in which SCB operates.

We are looking for security specialist with prior experience in handling secure networks for Infra structure in cloud, familiarity with security frameworks and risk management methodologies

Expected to be well versed in handling public key infrastructure (PKI) and cryptographic protocols (SSL/TLS).

The individual’s tasks will require deep understanding of infrastructure services available in AWS/GCP/Azure, and its integration within a highly secure enterprise network.

Good understanding on patch management, AWS WAF, AWS Shield Advanced or other intrusion detection/prevention systems.

Act on vulnerability reports and identify actions to remediate them by having appropriate plans managing all critical stakeholders

Proactive monitoring on network activities using tools like Datadog/ELK/Cloudwatch to identify issues and communicate to the teams

Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure all aspects of providing a highly secure environment are met prior to giving access.

Our Ideal Candidate

College degree or/equivalent and 8+years related work experience, required

2-3 years’ hands on experience with Cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure or GCP

Experience in handling penetration test reports to remediate vulnerabilities

Strong experience in Mobile security framework

DevOps: Terraform, Snyk, Github Actions/Circleci/Jenkins

Experience with the fundamentals of Linux administration and scripting languages (e.g Shell scripts, Python)

Preferred to have experience in programming (GO/C/C++)

Experience with Container platforms - Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift

Familiarity with data security, firewalls, and best practices

Excellent problem analysis and problem-solving skills

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers, partners and customers

Ability to develop and present technical concepts to a business audience

Strong commitment to high quality work and timely deliverables

Some project management experience

Excellent organizational skills and time management

Public cloud certifications on security speciality or pro level will be a plus
