Job Description

Private and priority bankers are most welcome! We are looking for a Vice President in Investor Relations & Business Development to groom, lead and manage the investor acquisition team. This candidate will report directly to the CEO where you will work closely with our product and investment teams and the goal is to source, expand and manage our client relationships with institutional and HNWI investors within the Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scale and optimize onboarding process to identify, profile, qualify and raise capital from institutional and HNWI investors within Asia-Pacific
  • Identify, onboard, and qualify private company issuers suitable for fundraising
  • Execute go-to-market issuer & investor strategy via in-depth understanding of private placement investment landscape
  • Expand existing profitable client relationships with key institutional investors, family offices, HNWI, and Issuers
  • Lead, motivate and train business development team to achieve onboarding and investment targets
  • Partner with intermediaries to grow and develop both investor and issuer relationships
  • Assist in coordinating research and market reports to promote and raise participant awareness

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance related discipline
  • Proven 4-8 years working experience in accredited individual investor or institutional sales, investor relations, and account management in the investment and private wealth management industry
  • Proven track record in meeting sales targets and also keen to learn new skills in marketing and corporate branding
  • Excellent communication / presentation and relationship management skills
  • Self-motivated, passionate, and a good team leader and player
  • Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills
  • Love startup culture with close relationships with co-workers
  • Prior experience in a Fintech lending platform performing sales and business development is a bonus
