About Us

Overview of The Singapore Maritime Foundation

The Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) was established in 2004 to forge dialogue and cooperation between private and public maritime stakeholders. We work with stakeholders across the entire spectrum of the industry, including the marine, shipping, port and ancillary services. Over time, this strong industry support has enabled us to reach out directly to the community for ideas and initiatives that strengthen the maritime ecosystem.

As their representative voice, we collectively raise awareness of the Singapore maritime industry. SMF’s initiatives aim to strengthen the cluster, attract young talent to the industry, and support work on important issues such as decarbonisation.
